Anche quest'anno una rappresentanza della nostra associazione ha partecipato allo stage condotto dal Maestro Osawa a Bruxelles, dal 11 al 13 novembre organizzato da l'Association Francophone d'Aikido.
Molti i praticanti sul tatami arrivati da vari paesi per condividere il lavoro proposto dal Maestro. Un lavoro che poggia le fondamenta sui movimenti di base a partire dai quali vengono costruiti i diversi waza.

A distanza di quasi una settimana, la sensazione lasciata dallo Stage è ancora viva, piena e ricca di indicazioni su cui lavorare.
Credo di poter dire che ancora una volta...

It is with great sorrow and distress that I have been following the awful events striking Japan in these last days.
I hardly can find the right words to express my feelings in such a heartbreaking moment. Nonetheless, I am writing this letter to you on behalf of all the Associazione AIKO people to sincerely express a sign of sympathy to you, your family, your friends and your colleagues in Japan.

Another, maybe the last of the big stars of Aikido society has gone. Tamura sensei's Aikido knowledge made him a major influences in Europe and the rest of the world for the past 45 years. Senpai (the way I call him) was well known as O-sensei's uke while he was uchideshi, and needless to say he was O-sensei's otomo when O-sensei went to Hawaii almost fifty years ago. For the Japanese at that time it was a dream to go to Hawaii so all of us envied him a lot.

On behalf of the entire IAF I would like to express our sympathy and condolences to Madame Tamura, Sensei's relatives and friends, the members of the FFAB, Sensei's students and all aikidoka in France and elsewhere, on the death of Tamura Nobuyoshi Shihan. Tamura Sensei was one of the principal postwar deshi at the Aikikai Hombu.
